At the Table With Jesus

Things happened and lives were changed when Jesus sat at the table; the Gospels are filled with such occasions and in this reflective study we will examine the place and significance that The Bible places on meals, look at the biblical history, and end up being fed ourselves by these scriptural meals! There is no "fast food" in the biblical tradition! Come and take your place at the table.

February 21 "The Sign of Wine" (John 2:1-11)
February 28 "The Sign of Welcome" (Matthew 9:10 - 13, Luke 5:27 - 32)
March 7 "The Sign of Breaking" (Luke 7:36 - 50)
March 14 "The Sign of Giving" (Luke 10:38 - 42)
March 21 "The Sign of Healing" (Luke 14:1 - 6)

Each of these meals has come down to us as a Sign, a symbol, and a sacramental encounter with Jesus Christ. Sitting at table with Jesus is no spiritual snack!
